Calligrapher, Engraver & Live Event Artist

As a Korean American artist, Hannah’s passion for calligraphy runs deep—rooted in a family tradition inspired by her grandfather. Today, she carries forward his legacy, blending traditional techniques with contemporary designs, tailored to create lasting impressions at events across Los Angeles and Orange County.

Hannah received her BA in Studio Art from Reed College in 2015, the same institution where Apple founder Steve Jobs famously studied calligraphy. After moving to Los Angeles and gaining experience in the jewelry industry, she longed for greater creative freedom. Following years of freelancing and sign painting for Trader Joe’s, she founded Choi Calligraphy in 2022.
